As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding, Tidža Mekić, Head of the Department for Publishing, Library, Visual, Music, and Performing Arts at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the ART THEATRE Association of Dramatic Artists and Technical Staff, Tuzla, with the aim of reviewing the documentation related to the implementation of the project “Fourth Artistic Review: Theatre Under the Stars 2026.”

The project was implemented between 27 June and 2 July 2026, with performances staged in the summer garden of the National Theatre Tuzla.

The fourth edition of the artistic review “Theatre Under the Stars” brought together local and regional artists and offered audiences a diverse programme of performing arts content. Special attention was devoted to performances for children, through which the project contributed to bringing theatre closer to younger audiences and encouraging their interest in culture and artistic expression.

The involvement of children and young people in cultural and artistic activities is of particular importance in fostering cultural awareness, creativity, and an appreciation for the performing arts. Such initiatives contribute to the development of a new generation of culturally engaged and informed audiences.

Based on the review of the available documentation and project implementation records, it was established that the project was carried out in accordance with the planned activities and that the beneficiary had prepared the financial documentation relating to the expenditure of the allocated funds.

The project represents a valuable contribution to the promotion of performing arts and cultural participation, particularly among younger generations, while further enriching the cultural life of the local community through accessible and engaging artistic programming.
