As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding, Adnan Bektić, Senior Expert Associate for International Cooperation within the Ministry’s Youth Sector, visited the Youth Association “Centar omladinskog razvoja” (COR) on 16 September 2026 with the aim of reviewing the documentation and activities related to the implementation of the project “Street Art Festival Lukavac,” which was supported by the Ministry with funding in the amount of BAM 5,000.00.
The Youth Association “Centar omladinskog razvoja” was established in 2025 with the aim of supporting young people, encouraging their active participation in social processes, and creating opportunities that contribute to the development of their creative, cultural, and social potential.
The objective of the “Street Art Festival Lukavac” project is to promote street art culture as a legitimate and socially beneficial form of artistic expression through youth education and the organization of a central festival event. The project seeks to introduce young people to street art as a contemporary art form, encourage their creativity, and provide them with opportunities to express their ideas and artistic potential through public spaces.
During the visit, representatives of the Association informed the Ministry’s Senior Expert Associate about the project objectives, implemented and planned activities, and the results expected to be achieved through the organization of the festival and the involvement of young people in various forms of artistic creation.
