On 17 September 2026, Hanadin Basarić, a representative of the Youth Department of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the “Respekt” Association with the aim of monitoring the implementation of the project entitled “Football for All.”
The project activities of the “Respekt” Association are implemented throughout the year and include football training sessions for children and young people, as well as workshops focused on mental health, the development of leadership and communication skills, self-confidence, and teamwork.
A particularly important aspect of the project is its inclusive approach, which ensures the participation of children and young people regardless of their individual abilities and needs, including children with Down syndrome, autism, and other special needs. In addition to sports activities, participants are supported in developing mental and social skills, speech, and communication abilities, thereby using sport as a space for social interaction, personal development, and active engagement within the community.
According to information provided by the beneficiary organization, more than 200 participants are involved in the project activities, distributed across different age groups and competitive categories, including both male and female divisions. The project is implemented throughout the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Association operates from its own fully equipped facilities designed for the implementation of project activities. According to the information submitted, the Association has also received three UEFA awards, further demonstrating the continuity of its work and its commitment to the development of sport and the inclusion of children and young people.
The implementation of the project “Football for All” contributes to the promotion of sport, healthy lifestyles, and equal opportunities for children and young people. The particular value of the project lies in its integration of sports and educational activities, through which young people are provided with opportunities to develop physical, mental, and social skills while fostering an inclusive environment in which every child can be part of a sports community.
This visit forms part of the activities aimed at monitoring the implementation of projects supported through funds allocated for youth programmes, with the objective of ensuring transparency, the responsible use of allocated funds, and insight into the results achieved through the supported projects.
