Action Plan of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for 2026: Visit to the Civic Development Agency of Independent Activists

On 25 September 2026, Hanadin Basarić, representative of the Ministry’s Youth Sector, visited the Civic Development Agency of Independent Activists with the aim of monitoring the preparatory activities for the implementation of the project “Impulse of New Generations.”

At the time of the visit, project activities were still in their initial phase, as implementation was scheduled to begin in October 2026. Nevertheless, the Association had already completed a significant portion of the preparatory work. A central digital system, namely the Association’s web portal, had been established as a resource platform intended for young people and parents. At the same time, data collection and the mapping of sports clubs and tournaments were underway, while preparations had also begun for the launch of the “Digital Sports Impulse” campaign.

According to the Association’s President, the project was designed to connect young people through youth sports and to establish a central digital platform that would provide young people and parents with relevant information while serving as a resource hub. Through the platform, the Association seeks to consolidate a wide range of information of importance to young people, particularly in the field of sports, their active engagement, and available opportunities for participation in various activities.

The project also envisages the direct activation of young people through three pilot events: a youth football tournament, an orienteering competition, and a large-scale environmental action. These activities will serve both as a practical test of the web portal’s functionality and as an opportunity for young people to become directly involved in sports, social, and environmental activities within their local communities.

A special component of the project focuses on informing young people about their rights, opportunities, and the importance of active participation in society, including familiarisation with the Youth Law and mechanisms designed to support young people. In this way, the project seeks to integrate digital tools, sports, and youth information, creating a more accessible space for young people to connect, become engaged, and participate actively in their local communities.

The implementation of the planned activities is expected to provide young people with easier access to information, stronger connections with sports and other organisations, and greater participation in activities relevant to their interests and development. At the same time, the pilot events will enable the testing of the practical application of the developed digital tool and its further enhancement in line with the needs of young people and parents.

This visit forms part of the activities undertaken to monitor the implementation of projects supported through youth-targeted funding, with the aim of ensuring transparency, the responsible use of allocated resources, and insight into the results achieved by supported projects.
