The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports hosted Ramiz Pašić—a promising athlete and seven-time national judo champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina—along with his long-time coaches, Aldin and Eldin Lukač, the founders of the “Braća Lukač” (Lukač Brothers) Judo Club.
During an open and cordial discussion, the guests briefed the Minister on their top-tier achievements on both the domestic and international stages. This included Ramiz’s impressive national titles and European medals, as well as plans for the coming period aimed at the further development and promotion of judo in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A particular focus of the meeting was the support system for successful athletes. The guests expressed deep gratitude to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for recognizing their hard work and dedication. They noted that it was this Ministry—acting under the current regulation on criteria for awarding prizes—that provided them with well-deserved recognition and financial rewards for their outstanding results. According to them, this form of appreciation from the Ministry stands out as the best example of institutional support, surpassing that provided by any other level of government in the country. Young champion Ramiz Pašić took this opportunity to express his special gratitude for the first official congratulatory message he had received from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports regarding his athletic achievements. He noted that such a gesture of attention and appreciation from a governing institution provides him with immense motivation for future competitions and new victories under the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina, adding that this was the very first congratulatory message he had ever received.
