The solo exhibition of the young artist Kemal Zukić titled “The Kingdom of Dinosaurs” will be officially opened on 2 April 2025 at 7 p.m. in the Children’s House Novo Sarajevo.
Art connects the inner and outer world, and the young artist does this through colours, lines and shapes. This exhibition is not only a display of artistic abilities, but also a strong call for inclusion and understanding.
Namely, Kemal Zukić, a young painter, student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo and a person with autism, reveals in his works a rich inner world and love for dinosaurs, inspired by the cult works from the Dinotopia series.
This exhibition, as the author himself emphasizes, means much more to him than just displaying paintings – it is a way to share his inner world with others. Each work bears the name of a dinosaur, the technique of production and the story that brings it to life. Through these paintings, Kemal not only expresses his artistic passion, but also creates bonds of understanding between different worlds.
The exhibition also has a humanitarian goal – a part of the proceeds from the sale of paintings will be donated to associations that help people with disabilities. Thus, Kemal uses his gift not only for artistic expression, but also for building a more aware and inclusive society.
The official opening of the exhibition is scheduled for the World Autism Awareness Day, which further emphasizes the need for understanding and support for people with autism.
For all those who believe that art can change the world – Kemal Zukić welcomes you to his dinosaurs kingdom!
