The Cinematography Foundation has announced a competition for co-financing film projects for 2025

The Cinematography Foundation Sarajevo has announced a competition for the selection of beneficiaries of the Cinematography Foundation’s funds for co-financing film projects for 2025.

This is the first of a total of five planned competitions that will be announced during the current year, in accordance with the spending programs adopted by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The competition was announced based on the decisions that determined the funds for the Transfer to the Cinematography Foundation from the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2025, as well as the program for the protection and promotion of cultural and historical heritage and the development of cultural and artistic creativity.

As stated, after the successful completion of the supervision of the Foundation’s work, the revision of internal procedures and the adoption of new and amended acts regulating the procedure for allocating funds, the conditions have been created for the continuation of transparent and efficient financing of the film industry in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Foundation’s Board of Directors thanked the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all partners who participated in the process of creating the conditions for re-announcing the competition, emphasizing that continued support will contribute to the development of domestic cinematography and the strengthening of the film sector.

The Foundation invited all interested film workers, production companies and other users to familiarize themselves in detail with the conditions, criteria and deadlines for submitting applications and to submit their applications in a timely manner.
