On Saturday, 17 October 2026, the 26th PopFest Kupres 2026 took place in Kupres. This traditional music event has been bringing together young performers, songwriters, and fans of popular music for over a quarter of a century, consistently affirming its significant role within the cultural and musical landscape of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Representing the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Advisor to the Minister Anita Vlašić attended PopFest Kupres 2026. She addressed the audience, congratulating the organizers on the successful execution of yet another edition of the festival. She also offered words of encouragement to all the young participants—aged 10 to 15—who generously share their talent with music lovers. During the event, she presented awards to the participants selected by a three-member jury as the most outstanding performers.

The 26th edition of PopFest once again demonstrated how music transcends generations and borders, fostering a space for connection, creativity, and mutual understanding. For this reason, PopFest Kupres is more than just a popular music festival; it is a vital cultural event that enriches the social life of Kupres and contributes to the promotion of musical creativity and cultural diversity in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
