Minister Vlaisavljević’s Congratulatory Message on the International Youth Day

The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Dear young people,

Today, as we mark International Youth Day, I wish to extend my sincerest congratulations, as well as a message that transcends this single day.

You are the strength of the present and the hope of the future. You are the generation with the courage to ask questions, break down barriers, create the new, and dream of a world that is fairer, freer, more open, and richer in culture, knowledge, and understanding.

Culture is not merely what connects us; it is also the space where young people shape their own futures. That is why I want every young person to have the opportunity to learn, create, speak up, be heard, and leave their mark.

As the Minister of Culture, Sport, and Youth, I believe that investing in young people is not just an institutional obligation—it is an investment in the society we wish to leave to future generations. It is our responsibility to open doors, provide opportunities, and support your ideas, talents, and dreams.

Never think that you are too young to make a difference. Great changes often begin with a single brave idea, a single voice that dares to speak out, and a single young person who believes that things can be better.

Do not give up on your dreams! Cherish your uniqueness! Be brave, create, ask questions, learn, and believe in yourselves! Your youth is not merely a stage of life; it is an energy capable of transforming society.

I hope you have the opportunity to live in a country where you can realize your dreams rather than having to abandon them. May you be proud of your roots, yet brave enough to forge new paths. And may you always know that your voice is heard, your efforts are seen, and your place in the future is—now.

Happy International Youth Day!

May your life be filled with knowledge that empowers you, culture that enriches you, people who inspire you, and dreams that guide you forward.

We do not have to wait for the future to create it. The future begins the moment we choose to believe we can make it better.

I wish you—from the bottom of my heart—happiness, courage, success, and belief in yourselves.

Happy Youth Day!
