On Thursday, 7 May 2026, the “Our Heritage” program was held at the University of Mostar, dedicated to the preservation and promotion of intangible cultural heritage. The centerpiece of the evening was the presentation of the HKUD “Rodoč” Mostar’s path towards UNESCO accreditation, which confirmed the Society’s long-standing work on the preservation and transmission of traditional culture.

The ceremony brought together representatives of the academic community, cultural institutions and international experts. The program included presentations, artistic and traditional performances and a symbolic presentation of UNESCO accreditation, emphasizing the importance of connecting science and practice in preserving living heritage.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Anita Vlašić attended the ceremony, congratulating HKUD “Rodoč” Mostar on this important international step forward and expressing support for all initiatives that preserve and transmit heritage to new generations.
