As part of the action plan for visiting recipients of funds approved by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Ministry representative Merima Djerekarac visited the “ILMER” Ski Club for Persons with Disabilities on October 6, 2026. She met with Fahrudin Kazazić, the coach of skier Ilma Kazazić and the Club’s authorized representative.

The purpose of the visit was to review documentation regarding the implementation of the project “Preparation and Qualification of National Team Member Ilma Kazazić for the World Para Alpine Skiing Championships,” activities for which were carried out at Bjelašnica and various European ski resorts. During the visit, the relevant documentation held by the recipient—pertaining to the implementation of the approved program and the proper use of allocated funds—was examined.

Upon project completion, the recipient will prepare narrative and financial reports on the project’s implementation and submit them to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports no later than December 31, 2026.

Ilma is set to compete in the World Para Alpine Skiing Championships in France next March, and the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports wishes her a successful remainder of her preparations leading up to this significant sporting event.
