Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević signed an agreement with the Catholic Faculty of Theology of the University of Sarajevo for the implementation of the project “International Scientific Symposium ‘Smiljan Franjo Čekada – Shepherd of the Church, Witness of Time and Heir of Hope. 50th Anniversary of the Death of the Archbishop of Vrhbosna”.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports allocated funds in the amount of 50,000.00 KM for the implementation of the project.

The agreement was signed by Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević and Vice-dean for Science of the Catholic Faculty of Theology of the University of Sarajevo Ilija Marković.

The project is dedicated to marking the 50th anniversary of the death of the Archbishop of Vrhbosna Smiljan Franjo Čekada and promoting scientific research, cultural heritage and historical legacy of the Catholic Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
