Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević hosted today at the Ministry the delegation of the most famous women’s football club in BiH, SFK 2000 Sarajevo, the Club’s VICE PRESIDENT Anela Potura, Secretary General Azra Numanović and Technical Manager Vildana Imamović. At the meeting attended on behalf of the Ministry also by the Assistant Minister for Sports, Adnan Džindo, the guests presented numerous successes of the Club and planned projects, and proudly announced that Sarajevo will host the UEFA Women’s Champions League, which was a special honour for the Club, Sarajevo and all of Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also required additional resources and support.
The guests expressed their gratitude for the support of the Ministry, which in the previous year “was of great importance and represented additional motivation to do even better in the new season”.
Minister Vlaisavljević congratulated the representatives of the Club on their numerous successes and perseverance, thanks to which they brought women’s football in BiH to a higher level. The Minister wished the Club good luck in the upcoming important matches, and did not hide her joy that Sarajevo had the opportunity to host top European teams.
