Contracts for year-round support for the most successful athletes signed for the first time

Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević signed contracts with direct beneficiaries in the field of sports, establishing a new financing model and ensuring systematic monitoring and support for sports clubs and athletes.

The signed contracts relate to providing financial support to clubs for the preparation and participation of the most trophy-winning athletes in domestic and international competitions at the World Championships in 2025 and 2026.

With this support, the Ministry confirms its commitment to a transparent and fair distribution of funds, strengthening clubs and federations, and creating a stable foundation for the further development of top-level sports.

Minister Vlaisavljević emphasized that systematic financing enables young athletes to achieve top results and affirm sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the international level, while providing clubs with security and support in their work.

Minister Vlaisavljević pointed out that the successes of our athletes at the world championships are the best indicator of their work, dedication and talent, and that it is the obligation of the institutions to provide them with adequate support, so that they can continue to achieve top results and worthily represent Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international sports scene.

Karate club “Ippon” for Emina and Nejra Sipović,
Taekwondo club “Asim Bajraktarević – Hamza” for Mehmed Krupić,
Taekwondo club “Tigar” Cazin for Melina Ružnić,
Martial arts club “Taekyon” for Lamija Šabović,
Martial arts club “Titanium” for Jasmin Merdić,
Taekwondo cube “Sarajevo” for Ada Avdagić,
Taekwondo club “Novi Grad” for Benjamin Husić.
