It is with particular pleasure that I express my sincere gratitude for the invitation and offer my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the opening of the cultural event “Evening of Roma Music,” held to mark the Roma holiday of Aliđun.

This event represents a valuable contribution to the preservation and promotion of the Roma community’s rich cultural heritage. Music, as one of the most powerful expressions of Roma identity, has for centuries connected people, transmitted traditions, and borne witness to a cultural richness that is an integral part of the overall heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Marking Aliđun through cultural activities offers an opportunity to strengthen mutual respect, dialogue, and understanding among people of diverse traditions and cultures. Events such as this underscore the importance of nurturing cultural diversity as a shared value that enriches our society.
