Dear Mr. Kafedžić,

It is my great honor and great pleasure, on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, as well as on my own behalf, to send the most sincere and warmest congratulations to the organizers, competitors and all sports fans on the occasion of the opening of the jubilee, 30th international tennis tournament for juniors and juniors up to 16 years of age – “30th OPEN RCT BARCELONA 1899 – SARAJEVO 2026”.

Three decades of continuous holding of this top sporting event represent an impressive jubilee and a true feat that deserves the deepest respect. The fact that the tournament proudly holds the status of the First Category in the extremely demanding Tennis Europe calendar clearly speaks of the top organizational standards, professionalism and tireless work invested in this project year after year. This tournament has long gone beyond the boundaries of an ordinary sports competition, it is a symbol of unbreakable, three-decade-long friendship and sports diplomacy between Sarajevo and Barcelona, ​​two Olympic cities that combine common values, solidarity and love for sport.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports proudly recognizes and supports such events, which not only position Bosnia and Herzegovina on the map of prestigious European sports centers, but also provide our youth with the opportunity to compete at the highest level, while developing a healthy competitive spirit, tolerance and fair play.

I wish all the young players who will test their strength on the clay in Sarajevo this year a lot of sporting luck, top results, and that they take the best memories and lasting friendships with them from our capital. I would like to thank the organizers for their perseverance, vision and invaluable contribution to the development of Bosnian tennis and sports as a whole, with the wish that this jubilee tournament be the most successful so far and a solid foundation for the next decades of excellence.
