Congratulations to Bakir Musić on his historic success

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports proudly extends sincere congratulations to Bakir Musić for his outstanding results at the Bosnia and Herzegovina Senior Athletics Championship.

Bakir won three gold medals—in the 100m, 200m, and 400m events—and a silver medal in the 4×100m relay. We would particularly like to highlight his victory in the 200m race, where he clocked a time of 21.05 seconds, breaking the sixteen-year-old senior national record previously held by Nedim Čović. With this achievement, he also met the qualifying standard for the European U-23 Championship, securing his place among the continent’s top young athletes.

These successes are a testament to his dedication, discipline, and sportsmanship, and represent a significant contribution to the promotion of athletics in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports will continue to support the development of young athletes, convinced that such achievements serve as the best ambassadors for our country.

We wish Bakir great success in his future career and hope he continues to write the history of Bosnian-Herzegovinian sports with the same passion.
