Action Plan of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports: Visit to the Association City Children’s Choir “Slavuj” Tuzla

As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding, on 16 September 2026, Tidža Mekić, Head of the Department for Publishing, Library, Visual Arts, Music and Performing Arts within the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the City Children’s Choir “Slavuj” Association Tuzla for the purpose of reviewing the documentation related to the implementation of the project “May Flower.”

The project “May Flower” was implemented on 16 May 2026 in Tuzla. It is a project dedicated to the promotion of children’s musical creativity and to providing young performers with an opportunity to showcase their musical talents before an audience and music professionals.

A particular value of the project lies in the participation of child soloists up to the age of 12, coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. In this way, the project maintains its international character and contributes to cultural cooperation and intercultural connections among young performers. The project brought together authors and soloists from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Croatia, and Serbia.

Through the implementation of the project, children and young performers were provided with opportunities to gain new experiences, develop their musical abilities, and connect with peers from different communities. The international participation further contributed to the exchange of cultural experiences and the strengthening of connections among children through music.

Based on the review of the documentation and the available information regarding the implementation of the project, it was established that the project was carried out in accordance with the planned activities. The beneficiary will prepare the financial documentation related to the expenditure of the allocated funds, in accordance with the obligations undertaken under the project agreement.
