As part of the action plan for visiting budget fund beneficiaries, Semira Dommar, Expert Advisor for Olympic and Paralympic Sports within the Ministry’s Sports Sector, visited the Bocce Federation of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Posušje on September 30, 2026.
The purpose of the visit was to review documentation regarding the implementation of a program supported under the Decision on Adopting the Program for Fund Expenditure and Allocation Criteria—specifically the program “Development and Promotion of Sports and Sports Activities and Support for and Promotion of Youth” (a current transfer to non-profit organizations from the “Transfer for Sports of Significance to the Federation”) and the sub-program “Program Activities of Sports Federations Constituted at the BiH and FBiH Levels”—totaling 34,000.00 KM.
The beneficiary utilized the funds for national team preparations for the Mediterranean Games in Taranto, Italy, as well as for athlete preparations for the World Championship. A portion of the funds was spent on preparations for and participation in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup, with the aim of developing the sport of bocce and attracting younger generations to engage in this sporting activity.
During the visit, the beneficiary’s relevant documentation concerning the implementation of the approved program and the proper use of the allocated funds was reviewed. Based on a review of the documentation, it can be concluded that the beneficiary used the allocated funds to implement the activities specified in the approved programme.
