On the premises of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, on April 20, 2026, a meeting was held with the young pianist from Travnik, Leon Bralić, where his previous artistic results and international successes were presented. The meeting was attended on behalf of the Ministry by Sanja Arnautović, head of the Department for Institutions and Associations in the Field of Culture.
Ten-year-old Leon Bralić achieved a series of significant results at piano competitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, thus establishing himself as an extremely talented young artist. Of particular note is his success at the international piano competition “Memorial Jurica Murai & Murai Grand Prix 2026” in Varaždin, where he won the first prize in the piano solo discipline, as the only representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina at this prestigious competition.
It is one of the most demanding piano competitions in the region, which gathers young artists from all over the world with the aim of developing artistic talent, international cooperation and promotion of musical art. In the competition of participants from 22 countries around the world, Leon Bralić stood out with his performances of works by Bach, Mozart and Chopin, for which he received special praise from the international jury.
Such results represent an important contribution to the affirmation of young musical talents from Bosnia and Herzegovina and confirm the importance of continuous support for their further artistic development.
